I am a counselor who believes that everyone has the opportunity
to live a life that is meaningful ~ full of purpose and contentment. Often,
however, people are encumbered by issues that strip joy and drain
fulfillment from their lives. Rather than constructively
using their mental and physical energies to pursue meaningful goals,
their energies are spent simply trying to cope with the issues
that hold them back. But it doesn’t have to be that
way!
Much of life cannot be controlled. This is true. But
much of it can!
A worthwhile investment:
Counseling does not need to be a long and drawn out process. Many
issues can be dealt with in a timely manner. In this fast-paced
society, people are learning that families and relationships are
what matter most. In that light, counseling is an investment. The
time and effort given for personal, marriage or family therapy
pays great dividends in the short term ~ and for years to come.
As a Christian, I believe that our physical, emotional and spiritual
wellbeing are highly integrated. For this reason I incorporate
spiritual principles within the counseling session to the degree
that is comfortable for the client.
