Meet our Staff - Kelle Anderson, MS
Professional Counselor
My heartbeat on counseling: Life is complex. An honest pastor once said, “The secret is that none of us really knows what we’re doing…” I resonate with that. However, in the midst of the complexity and confusion I believe there is a path that leads to healing, balance, and a meaningful life. This is the role of counseling as we journey and work together.
Training, etc.: After graduating from UW-Madison in French Education I worked for 4 years in youth ministry and over 15 years as an educator. While I enjoyed working with students and families I had an increasing desire to be involved with people at a deeper and more wholistic level so I made the vocational leap. I earned my Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Concordia University where I was able to freely integrate my faith and life experiences with course work and practice. I worked as a student intern at Living Well Counseling and also a Madison area church. Through that I realized my passion for helping people, in life’s messiness, create new understandings and experience well-being. Since I am still in my “training” phase, you can see me at a reduced rate.
Experience: I have counseled people working through issues of grief and loss, anxiety, depression, marital conflict and separation, boundary issues, identity development, vocational clarity, as well as other relational, interpersonal and spiritual concerns. I enjoy working with individuals, couples and groups.
Free time: I love fresh air, exercise, good friends, learning, and laughs with my husband and teen sons.
