Meet our Staff - Debbie Millman, MA, MS Professional Counselor

After working in the field of special education for twelve years, Debbie completed her Master of Arts in Counseling at Nyack College in Nyack, NY in May of 2006. As she works towards full licensure in Wisconsin, Debbie is able to see self-paying clients (clients who don’t require third-party billing through an insurance company) for a lower fee while under clinical supervision.

While working with her husband in church and youth ministry since 1993, Debbie developed a natural passion for walking alongside people who are hurting.  Her own journey in life has brought her to a place of empathy and compassion for the “fellow strugglers” she encounters in the counseling room.  Debbie is especially interested in helping individuals who suffer from the effects of sexual abuse and other types of childhood trauma.  She also enjoys helping couples connect with each other on a deeper level.

In her free time, Debbie enjoys bike riding with her two boys and spending time with her husband.  Her dream vacation is to ride ATV’s through the trails of Wisconsin with her family.
