Thank you for taking time to visit this page!
As someone who values authenticity and has experienced a little bit of life, I know it’s probably a big deal for you to be here!
About me: as a counselor in public education since 1996, and as a husband and father of three teenagers, I bring a breadth and depth of experience to counseling adolescents and families. After a few years of teaching elementary music and beginning band, I completed my graduate studies in Counseling and have been a secondary school counselor since 2000. I’ve also taught adult learners for Concordia University’s Madison Campus and Online since 2007. Since music is still an integral part of who I am, on the weekend you’ll probably find me playing with the worship team of my local church.
Special areas of interest include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Young Adults, Military Families, Multicultural Identity, Transitions, Anxiety, Depression, Stress Management and Self-care.
You’ll find early on that I’m down-to-earth and easy to talk with. I’m basically a sci-fi geek who also happens to be a pragmatic optimist!
- You are capable of more than you can possibly imagine.
- I value you and your story.
- Growth, healing and change are hard work, but you’ll be empowered by our work together.
I look forward to assisting with your journey towards healing and wholeness!
